NASHVILLE, Tenn. – State Rep. Rebecca Alexander, R-Jonesborough, has been reelected by her peers to serve as House Republican Caucus Treasurer for the upcoming 114th Tennessee General Assembly.
“It is an honor and privilege to be reelected as caucus treasurer for another two years,” Alexander said in a statement. “I’m grateful my colleagues have entrusted me with this important role, and I look forward to working together as we continue to build a stronger, safer Tennessee.”
In her role as treasurer, Alexander will receive and safeguard all caucus funds and ensure all reports to the Tennessee Registry of Election Finance (TREF) are correct and completed on time.
“I look forward to continuing my work with Rep. Alexander in her position as treasurer,” House Speaker Cameron Sexton, R-Crossville, said. “Her fiscal responsibility and integrity will be invaluable assets for the 114th General Assembly.”
Alexander will be responsible for producing quarterly funding reports for members, keeping records or receipts and expenditures, and provide members with copies of all public disclosure reports filed with TREF.
She was elected to serve House District 7 in 2020, and has served as caucus treasurer since 2022.
The 114th General Assembly will convene on January 14, 2025.
