Ryan Graves, founder of Americans for Safe Aerospace, joins Rep. Burchett on Tennessee Talks

WASHINGTON, D.C., (November 15, 2023) – On the latest episode of Tennessee Talks, former Navy pilot and founder of Americans for Safe Aerospace Ryan Graves joins Rep. Tim Burchett (TN-02) to discuss his experiences as a Navy pilot, the founding of Americans for Safe Aerospace, and work that needs to be done on the UAP issue.

“Ryan was a key player in the Oversight hearing we had on UAPs in July,” said Rep. Burchett. “He's the first active-duty pilot to come forward to Congress to testify about UAPs and he was brave to do so. He cares about transparency and wants to see some serious movement on this issue.”

Ryan Graves is a former Navy F-18 pilot and T-45C Goshawk instructor pilot. Ryan deployed aboard the USS Enterprise in 2012 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and again in 2015 aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt in support of Operation Inherent Resolve over Iraq & Syria.

Graves is currently the CEO and founder of Merged Point and host of the Merged podcast. Merged is an open-minded exploration of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) through the lens of pilots, scientists, and innovators. Ryan volunteers his time in service of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, where he serves as Chair of the Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Integration & Outreach Committee.
