Rep. Green Votes No on Latest Continuing Resolution

WASHINGTON—Today, Rep. Mark Green released the following statement on his no vote on the clean Continuing Resolution:

Green said, "The status quo in Washington must end. Record-high inflation is hurting Americans from coast to coast. Meanwhile, nations across the globe are falling away from the dollar and running towards the yuan. This isn’t just an economic issue; it’s a national security issue. We can't continue down the road of record deficits and record debt. "

Green continued, "Deficits have consequences that will affect not just our generation, but our children and grandchildren’s. That's why I voted no on this clean Continuing Resolution. Washington is out of controlit's long past time to rein it in."
