WASHINGTON, D.C., (October 17, 2023) – Today, U.S. Congressman Tim Burchett (TN-02) released the following statement regarding his vote for Jim Jordan as the next Speaker of the House:
“I voted for Jim Jordan because he's a hardworking patriot who doesn't give up on his country or his beliefs. I'm disappointed the vote didn't pass, but I won't stop fighting for leadership that can unite our party and get our country onto a fiscally conservative track.”
