Patrick Wilson, President of MKAA joins Rep. Burchett on Tennessee Talks

WASHINGTON, D.C. (February 7, 2023) – On the latest episode of Tennessee Talks, Patrick Wilson, President of the Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority joins Rep. Tim Burchett (TN-02) to discuss the recent winter storms that hit East Tennessee, new developments at McGhee Tyson Airport, and passport processing times returning to pre-COVID levels.

“I'm always thankful when I fly in or out of McGhee Tyson,” said Rep. Burchett. “They've got an incredible crew over here that does their job very well, and not to mention they're outstanding people."

Patrick graduated top of his class from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a Master of Business in Aviation.

Wilson also has over 20 years of aviation experience and was previously executive director at the Tri-Cities Airport in Blountville, Tennessee before coming to the MKAA in 2018. Wilson is well-respected in the industry as he served as President of the Tennessee Association of Air Carrier Airports, was appointed by Governor Haslam to serve on the Tennessee Aviation Funding Task Force, and is currently serving on the University of Tennessee's Aerospace and Defense Advisory Board.
