REPS. OGLES AND CLYDE INTRODUCE
THE ‘SEND THEM BACK ACT’
WASHINGTON, DC - Congressmen Andy Ogles (TN-05) and Andrew Clyde (GA-09) introduced the SEND THEM BACK Act (the Sending Evading Non-Documented Threats Home Especially Migrants Biden Accepted Carelessly and Knowingly Act). This legislation would make all illegal aliens who have entered the United States since January 20, 2021, eligible for expedited removal from the country.
“It is unfathomable that the Biden Administration has so blatantly attempted to utilize the southern border as a means of securing Democrat voters. The United States is being invaded by millions of people every single year. At this point, more people have illegally entered America on Joe Biden’s watch than the entire population of the State of Tennessee,” said Congressman Ogles. “We cannot continue to abuse taxpayers by forcing them to pay for the housing these trespassing criminals. I am grateful for the support of Congressman Clyde on this important legislation to start clawing back our country by removing Biden’s illegal squatters from our land.”
Congressman Clyde said, “For the last three years, President Biden and Secretary Mayorkas’ intentional invasion has flooded communities across the country with millions of illegal aliens. In addition to securing the southern border to stop the unsustainable influx, we must expel every solitary illegal migrant who accepted the Biden Administration’s invitation to unlawfully enter and reside in our nation. I’m proud to join my friend, Rep. Ogles, in introducing this commonsense legislation that achieves this goal by deporting every illegal alien who entered the U.S. under President Biden’s watch. After all, failure to remove individuals who break the law to enter our Republic — which guarantees liberties to those who obey the law — will ultimately destroy our great nation.”
Cosponsors (3): Andrew Clyde (GA-09), Barry Moore (AL-02), and Jeff Duncan (SC-03).
