Kustoff Introduces Resolution to Designate National Agriculture Day

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congressman David Kustoff (R-TN) cosponsored a bipartisan resolution to designate March 19, 2024, as "National Agriculture Day." Led by Reps. Mark Alford (R-MO) and Jim Costa (D-CA), this resolution celebrates the importance of agriculture as one of the most impactful industries in the United States.
"I am pleased to join my colleagues in introducing this resolution which designates today, March 19th, 2024, as National Agriculture Day," said Congressman Kustoff. "Farmers are the backbone of West Tennessee's economy. They produce the food, fuel, and fiber used around the world. Thank you to all of our hardworking farmers and ranchers for helping support our communities throughout West Tennessee.”
