WASHINGTON, D.C., (Feb. 8., 2023) – On the latest episode of Tennessee Talks, Rep. Byron Donalds (FL-19) joined Rep. Tim Burchett (TN-02) to discuss Congressman Donalds' journey to the U.S. Congress, the days-long vote to elect a Speaker of the House, and the House Oversight Committee's plans for the 118th Congress.

Rep. Byron Donalds was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and was raised by a single mother. He moved to Florida and graduated from Florida State University with a finance and marketing degree, and made a life for himself working in the banking, finance, and insurance industries. He was elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2016 before joining the U.S. House of Representatives in 2021.
