WASHINGTON, D.C., (Feb. 8., 2023) – Today, U.S. Representative Tim Burchett (TN-02) was named Vice Chair of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia.
“I’ve served on the Foreign Affairs Committee since I first came to Congress, so this is a real honor,” said Rep. Burchett. “I take the responsibility seriously because the world is watching us closely, and I look forward to working on ways to responsibly support our allies in this region while countering aggression from our adversaries.”
Rep. Burchett has served on the House Foreign Affairs Committee since his first term in 2019, and currently also serves on the Subcommittee on Oversight and Accountability.
